No, a referral is not required to book an appointment with our practitioners. However, some insurance providers may require a referral for reimbursement.
2. What should I expect at my first physiotherapy appointment?
Your first visit includes a thorough assessment, discussion of your symptoms and goals, and a customized treatment plan. Treatment may begin on the same day.
3. What conditions do your physiotherapists treat?
We treat a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, TMJ dysfunction, pelvic floor concerns, concussion symptoms, vestibular issues, and more.
4. Do you offer direct billing to insurance companies?
Yes, we direct bill to most major insurance providers, including Pacific Blue Cross, Canada Life, Sun Life, Manulife, and others. Please bring your insurance details to your appointment.
5. Do you accept ICBC claims?
Yes. We work closely with ICBC and provide physiotherapy and massage therapy for individuals recovering from car accidents.
6. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards, and debit cards. If paying with cash, please make sure that you pay the exact amount owing as we do not have cash for change. Payment is required at the time of service unless covered by direct billing, WSBC or ICBC.
7. How long are physiotherapy appointments?
Initial assessments are typically 45–60 minutes. Follow-up treatments range from 30–60 minutes depending on your needs and the therapist’s recommendation.
8. What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement. Depending on your treatment area, you may be asked to expose the region for proper assessment and hands-on therapy.
9. Do you treat Workplace (WSBC) injuries?
Yes. We accept WSBC claims for physiotherapy. Please ensure your claim number is active and approved before booking.

12. What is Bodywork (Non-Registered Massage Therapy)?
Bodywork is performed by trained massage providers who are not yet registered with the College of Massage Therapists of BC. These treatments are offered at a reduced rate and are ideal for patients without extended health benefits or those seeking affordable massage therapy.
Please note: Bodywork treatments cannot be billed to insurance.
13. What can I expect during an acupuncture treatment?
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points to reduce pain, improve energy flow, calm the nervous system, and support overall wellness. Treatments may include additional techniques such as cupping, Gua Sha, or electroacupuncture depending on your needs.
14. What does a Naturopathic Doctor do at your clinic?
Our Naturopathic Doctor focuses on treating the root cause of health concerns using natural medicine, acupuncture, lifestyle guidance, and hands-on therapies. Common concerns addressed include chronic pain, digestive issues, stress, fatigue, and musculoskeletal misalignment.
15. Is there parking at the clinic?
Yes, parking is available on-site through Impark.

What are the current parking reimbursement rates?
As of September 1, 2025, reimbursement rates are:
- 1 hour: Parking $4.50 → Reimbursement $4.00
- 2 hours: Parking $8.00 → Reimbursement $6.00
- 3 hours: Parking $9.00 → Reimbursement $8.00
